The much-anticipated San Diego premiere, tick, tick…BOOM! is the critically-acclaimed autobiography of Rent composer Jonathan Larson. After his sudden death in 1996, Larson’s one-man musical tale of a young composer on the brink of turning 30 and falling into oblivion was re-shaped by Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright David Auburn into its current award-winning form. Time Magazine exclaims that tick, tick…BOOM! is “Better than The Producers” and the Associated Press hails “This is musical theatre writing at its most inventive." One of the greatest classics of modern theater, Miss Julie is the fateful drama of a willful young aristocrat’s seduction of her father’s valet during a Midsummer’s Eve celebration. The new process translation by the internationally acclaimed Strindberg scholar Dr. Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey, will be helmed by San Diego director Robert Dahey and will star Stone Soup Artistic Director Rebecca Johannsen and San Diego favorite Matthew Thompson.
