
Associate Artist: Lindsey Gearhart
Lindsey is a recent San Diego transplant, and has worked throughout Los Angeles as a director,
producer, actor and stage manager. Most recently, she directed and produced the West Coast
premiere of Kirsten Childs' The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, which received 3
NAACP Award nominations, including Best Director of a Musical.Other directorial credits include
Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World at the Village Gate Theatre, The Best Little
Whorehouse in Texas (assistant to Jim Hormel), and numerous youth productions including
Cinderella, The Sound of Music and Oklahoma! As an actor, Lindsey has been seen around San
Diego in Baby (North Coast Rep), In the Beginning, and the West Coat premere of Flight of the
Lawnchair Man. Other selected acting credits include Cabaret, Once Upon a Mattress and Bat
Boy: The Musical. A proud graduate of USC's School of Theatre, Lindsey is currently working on
her MFA in Musical Theatre at San Diego State University.
