Rebecca Johannsen (Artistic Director)

Rebecca was the founding Managing Director for Stone Soup Theatre
Company in 2001 and became Artistic Director in 2004. The first production
under Rebecca's term as AD was the critically acclaimed Two Rooms, in
which she starred as Lainie Wells. Rebecca also produced Stone Soup's Death
and the Maiden, Love's Fire, Echoes, Tongue of a Bird and 4.48 Psychosis,
which marked her directing debut. She is currently preparing for her
upcoming turn as August Strindberg's title character, Miss Julie for Stone
Soup. She has a Master's degree in theatre from San Diego State University
and a Ph.D. in Theatre from UC Irvine.
